Exhibition Introduction

Doug Aitken

23.03.19 – 04.08.19

Faurschou Foundation is happy to present the first solo exhibition by world-renowned American artist, Doug Aitken, in Beijing.

The exhibition features three of Doug Aitken’s most recent works, which exposes our modern-day society and culture and brings forward both positive and negative sides of our digital interconnectedness, leaving it up to the viewer to judge.

Doug Aitken is known for his large scale, technical and digital installations, and his use of a wide range of media; video, installation, sound and sculpture. At Faurschou Beijing, many of the artist’s methods come together to form an all-immersive experience for the viewers, who become an active and important part of the works.
